Bullies and fascists come in all shapes and sizes.
There are many prefixes that can be applied to either.Eco,religious,political,criminal,climate etc.
They all provide a common enemy for moderate decent folk to stand against, whatever their beliefs or otherwise.
If we face down all these intolerant bastards they'll have nowhere to go.
If we appease them they get stronger.
So hear this all you zealots and despots out there.
I don't believe man made CO2 emissions are heating the planet.
I don't believe in a God and I don't believe this makes me a bad person.
I do believe in tolerance and the rule of democratic law, Darwin's theory of Evolution and the laws of physics, quantum or otherwise to explain the origin of the universe and life.
I don't know why and never will but nor, if I were a believer would I ever know what motive a 'god' could have in creating a planet on which millions of children die of natural catastophe or starvation before even knowing what 'sin' is.
If there's a heaven it must be a very tragic place full of very troubled spirits.
So give us a break and accept that I'm an individual with a mind of my own, not some brain-washed lemming.
Let nobody ever say that a debate is closed on any subject and that includes Global Warming.
